Allgood Head Start & Pre-Kindergarten

Cobb County Head Start and PreK is located in Marietta, Georgia.  We currently service about 207 children.  We have 11 teachers and 11 assistant teachers on staff. 

Our focus is on several areas including; education, health, nutrition, mental health, services to the disabled, family and community partnerships, parent involvement and volunteers.

We are continuing to take applications for the 2008-2009 Head Start Program. If you know anyone who has an eligible 4-year-old child, please have them contact us at 770-424-1961.

Kindergarten Registration

Remember to register your child for kindergarten. Marietta City Schools will be holding kindergarten registration on April 14 – 18 from 8:30 to 11:30 at each elementary school. Cobb County Schools will hold their kindergarten registration on April 2 at each elementary school. If you need assistance, see your family partner.
