7:35 – 8:00  Carline – Greeting Activities

              (Activities in science, math, fine motor and book/quiet areas)

8:00 – 8:30   Breakfast

8:30 – 8:40   Message Board/Daily News (Teacher discusses the weather, changes to the schedule, etc.)

8:40 – 9:00   Small Group (Teacher planned activity)

9:00 – 9:15    Large Group (Story, fingerplay, music, unit topic discussion, Second Step)

9:15 – 10:40   Plan/Do/Review (Child’s choice of all areas, including science, math, fine motor, book, art, blocks, dramatic play)

10:40 – 11:00 Discovery (Child’s choice of science, math, fine motor, book/quiet areas)

11:00 – 11:30  Lunch   

11:30 - 12:30  Outside Activities (Child’s choice of gross motor equipment and activities and blocks and dramatic play material)

12:30 – 12:45 Brush teeth

12:45 - 1:25   Quiet time (Quiet music will be played.  Cots and quiet activities are available)

1:25 - 1:35      Closing Activity       

1:35               Dismissal

  Word from Carolyn...

“Thank you” to all of the parents who took time out of their busy schedule to volunteer this month. We had an especially good turn out for RIF Day with many parents participating. Remember, volunteers are always welcome in the center!
As the weather changes, please send a jacket with your child each day. Remember any medication your child requires must be checked in through the office.
The teachers will be scheduling their first Educational Home Visits during the month of October. Please remember your appointment time and ask questions about what your child is doing in the classroom.

YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE A PICTURE ID, SOCIAL SECURITY CARD OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS, PROOF OF RESIDENCY AND INCOME FOR THE PAST 4 WEEKS
